10KLF has announced a few initial artists for this years festivities during Snowball this past weekend with Wookiefoot:

They are:

Dave Matthews Band
Wilco
Trampled by Turtles
Wookiefoot
Widespread Panic

More announcements to be made 1/21/09, so stay tuned!!!

I'm so happy about this! I love Wilco. I saw them in Rochester, MN last May and they blew me away! Awesome!!

This lineup blows. Never trust a big announcement. It's always WSP. I'm not a big WSP fan. I enjoyed them at Bonnaroo last year but I don't think I can take 2 nights of them. The only bands I'm interested in is Wilco, Ump and maybe DMB. Not worth driving 6 hours. :( If I can win some free tickets somewhere I might go. Otherwise I'm out. :'(
